J. Bruce Ismay, President of the International Mercantile Marine Company,
arrived yesterday on the Cunard liner Mauretania. With him was Vice
President Harold A. Sanderson and E. C. Grenfell, the latter a Director of
the company. It is said that they are here to attend an important
conference of the company's heads this week. Mr. Ismay, however, said he
crossed simply on his semi-annual tour of inspection. He expects the new
White Star liner Olympic to be launched in June and the Titanic, her sister
ship, six months later.
