Mrs Michael Guilfoyle, 68*

Mrs Catherine Guilfoyle, 68, of Stewart Road, Swan Lake, died Tuesday while visiting relatives in Brooklyn.

A housewife, she was the widow of Michael Guilfoyle and had lived at Swan Lake the past 37 years.

She was born at County Longford, Ireland, Oct. 6, 1899, a daughter of Michael Murphy and Marie Lyons. She was a communicant of St. Peter’s Church, Liberty.

She is survived by a son, Michael Jr of the Bronx; two daughters, Mrs Marie Garry of Brooklyn and White Lake and Mrs Rita Townsend of Swan Lake; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Rosary service will be at 8 Thursday at the Masterson Home, Liberty. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 Friday morning at St. Peter’s Church, with the Rev. John J. Brinn presiding. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
