Providence woman, injured, in hospital at New York in state of nervous collapse from her experiences.  – declines to give local address.

New York, April 12. – Mrs Rose Abbott of Providence, lies at the New York Hospital on sixteenth Street in a state of nervous collapse due to her experiences on board the Titanic.

In addition, she received many injuries, although none of them was of a serious nature. The greater part being bruises and contusions. 

At the hospital, it was stated that she could see no visitors, and the telephone call to her private room elicited the response that she declined to give her street address or anything whatever about her relatives.
