Mr. J Shaw, 40, was born in Larne, Northern Ireland.
He signed on to the Titanic on 6 April 1912 as a fireman, giving his local address as 166 H'land Road and his last ship as the Oceanic.
He did not join the ship and was therefore listed as a deserter.
Some online sources suggest he was James Shaw born Larne 1870, who died in 1917.
