After five days' trial the jury in the case of Mele Osman, a Servian, charged with killing Mona Duic, returned a verdict tonight of murder in the first degree, with a recommendation of mercy. The defense was that Osman, laboring under insane delusions about his wife, shot Duic, her admirer.
