another realy dramatic scene that was cut was when the ship REALY starts to plunge in to the depths, and the camera cuts into the third class stairwell that was locked earlier, and that irish family with a daughter named cora are desperately trying to open the lock to get out, but the water rushes in over them, and the final shot of this scene is when the water finaly engulfs little cora. It is a very tense and dramatic scene, I belive it was supposed to be in the sequence where the band plays on and the camera goes thru the bowls of the ship, but I doubt it cos the rest of the shots were slow and mornful in that sequence especially the one where Thomas Andrews is looking transfixed at a painting in the 1st class smoking room with objects falling off shelves around him, with his lifebelt just laying there on the table. But as this was the general mood of the sequence, it could of been edited out for the reason that it does not match the rest of the sequence.

Not to get off the subject, but I would love to see a movie about the New York hearings! Or, on the Californian! I myself, like Mr.Lord, would like some insight on what took place on the bridge of the Californian that night! Or to watch W.A. Smith fire away at Ismay!! There's a two way street I noticed about Wyn Craig Wades' take on the hearings, but they are informative and detailed and would make great drama and would show a side of the disaster to the casual observer they have yet seen. Maybe in turn explaining our addiction. Just my opinion gang!

There was a docudrama on video, that was aired at one of the exhibits- reinacting the inquiry. Believe it or not, Johnny Cochrine (of O.J fame) played one of the senators..

oh well..

You can snap up the Titanic Explorer CDROM pretty easily on Ebay...and not too expensive either.

I think when (I believe he'll do it--he did it for the Abyss, so he'll certainly do Titanic) Cameron releases his special edition DVD he'll include cut scenes but not incorporating them in the film but as "extras" that stand alone from the film. The film is the director's cut, but he'll likely release this info in an additional type of format.

I'd love to see the cut scenes as well. I've seen them on my CDROM but there are others that were cut that don't appear on it.

Hello

Does any one have book called "Titanic James Cameron's Illustrated Screenplay" It's a great book of the cut scene of the movie there is more of cut scene's of Thomas Andrews there is one where he is standing by the fireplace and tears coming down on his face in the movie he's not crying and there is a picture of him giving a tour in the gymnasium, more pictures of the officer's and at the end of the book there pictures of the dogs in the water after the ship founders.
