I would like to take a moment to remember the birthday of the amazing Charles Herbert Lightoller. If his resume were posted on Monster.com, the verdict would be "Sir, you're over-qualified!"

I would also like to remember some of his descendents and kinsmen, now serving with the British forces in Iraq. May they return safe, sound, and soon.

I'll second that Pat. Rumour has it things are a bit dicey in Iraq. Who's serving now and in what capacity? Royal Navy?
