Reports of Flooding in Aft Section

Also the water flooded up the spiral staircases according to chief fireman Charles Hendrickson (TIP | British Wreck Commissioner's Inquiry | Day 5 | Testimony of Charles Hendrickson (Leading Fireman, SS Titanic)) and fireman Thomas Threlfall (T. Threlfall, leading fireman).

Also according to lookout George Thomas Macdonald Symons (TIP | British Wreck Commissioner's Inquiry | Day 10 | Testimony of George Symons (Lookout, SS Titanic)), third officer Hebert John Pitman (TIP | United States Senate Inquiry | Day 4 | Testimony of Herbert J. Pitman, cont.) the water was also flooding up the first cargo hatch.

The water also was on E-deck during the first 45 minutes of the sinking according to able seaman John Thomas Poingdestre (TIP | British Wreck Commissioner's Inquiry | Day 4 | Testimony of John Poingdestre (Able Bodied Seaman, SS Titanic)). According to saloon steward Frederick Dent Ray the water was already up the second funnel casing (TIP | United States Senate Inquiry | Day 9 | Testimony of Frederick D. Ray (Saloon Steward, SS Titanic)) on E-deck.

Also a private letter of assistant second class saloon steward Walter Henry Nichols (owned by Samuel Halpern) in boat 15 reported around 1:45 the propellers were out of the water.

Apologies if I sound rude, but I fail to understand how a fully flooded bow (as flooding simulations indicate) can rise up from the water.

What flooding simulations from so-called experts fail to account for is the physical barriers that routed floodwater - water-tight doors and bulkheads sealed cargo, mail, furniture, anything that resisted flooding in the bow. The bow was not fully flooded as these simulations will have you believe and the water couldn't have made it much higher than D-deck before the climax of structural failure.

When Lightoller left the ship, the crow's nest was level with the base of funnel 1 and the propellers were out of the water. Fot the bow to rise to th surface it would need to displace the abount ow water above it. Try this... take an ordinary oar put the plade in the water and submerge it to a depthe of sat 3 feet. Now turn the blade horizontal and try and lever the oar in th rowlock back to the surface. You are trying to lift a weight of about 192 lbs...no easy feat... needs a bit of effort.

Mail can not float. It is paper.

I believe there are a few explanations for this, a combination of the ship's heel and canter to starboard and the cold water mirage. I'm going through my notes and will show you what Lightoller later saw, demonstrated in my diagrams.

Remember that Jim Currie was (or still is I could be wrong about it of-course) a sea captain. If someone is an expert about sailing, how ships preform at sea it would be our captain here.

Captains can still make mistakes. Remember E.J. Smith?

Often claims about “mistakes” about captain Smith are not true however. For example, he did not ignored the ice warnings. He even had a meeting with his officers about ice nearby. And both the watches before and during the collision were aware of the ice nearby. Very often people are blamed for the sinking by “the best seamen ashore” (with that I mean people who make assumptions that they do not research their claims.)

I just received a private email from Aaron2016 on another platform and he wanted you all to be aware that he is not Poobah_2020 and has had no communication with him whatsoever. It is a mystery why Poobah_2020 is pretended to be him. but you should all be aware that he is not Aaron and has had no communication with him. Hopefully the moderators will warn Poobah about his dishonesty and ask him to apologise to Aaron.

Kindly apologize for this untruth. There are many imposters out there in league with Titanic_Animations out to make me look bad. They even claim I am Logan Dublin University on Discord and YouTube but this isn't true either.
