I am interested in any information about Francis Millet, a cousin of my great great grandfather, especially on any ties with a Safford or Buell family. The site has been quite helpful with general information, but I would appreciate any personal info. anyone can share!

I am researching Herbert John Pitman of Somerset England. Some of my family are Pittmans from Somerset. Is anyone else researching the Pitmans? Please feel free to email and compare notes.

Thanks so much for all of the great information. I am a volunteer docent at the Mariners Museum in Newport News, Virginia for their 'Titanic, Fortune and Fate' exhibit which will run until November 1, 1998. Our exhibit has about 200 items, consisting of letters, postcards, marconigrams as well as the white silk scarf given to the baby Frank (Filly) Aks by Mrs. Astor while on the boat deck of Titanic. A lifeboat fender and lifebelt.
