I perceive the reason we are plonked in Cam's time warp scenario at precisely 11:40 is so Titanic still actually "goes down", if we arrived earlier and say - "volunteered" our "undercover assistance" as a lookout... With a surprisingly powerful set of "binoculars" (which these days are easily recognised as a night vision unit)...
Or say... Made "friends" with the blokes in the Marconi room... And even with my current System's Admin knowledge ....a few changes here, bit of tinkering there...etc
We could short circuit history (pun intended).
But then a time loop black hole? As reason we are there on Titanic then doesn't exist...because Titanic arrives in New York. So why would we be there initially to "stop" what never happens?
So...sink she has to.
But...who cares about time scenarios if we lessen the 1513 by one, or ten...or one hundred?
I don't.
Save lives, and as many as we can, with no care to how that changes history for better, worse or otherwise.
Record as much s~~~ as possible and cause a riot at the court cases would be my next move, to see those exposed for covering the truth to save their "reputations" and own arses
To show the world all the reasons why now (lets hope) only hundreds of deaths, not over 1500
